The situation pertains to YOU not everyone else. I have two hdtvs and dont have an HDMI cable for neither and no one else that I know has one either. BTW HDMI cables cost upwards of 100 dollars.

Actually my bad that means that 360 can play movies in 1080p. All microsoft needs to do is release a firmware patch and 360 can output games in 1080p over component.
And HDMI cables are expensive as hell anyway.
Damn sony fanboys so you can pay 500 dollars for a dvd player that outputs slightly better than Standard definition which is sad because blu-ray doent even look good in 1080p(500 dollar ps3) or 700+ dollars(600 dollar ps3 plus HDMi cable) for blu-ray which already look like sh!t anyway based on the visiual quality of the ones out now.
And the 500 dollar ps3 only outputs in 1080p for GAMES.It will play movies in 540p due to HDCP.

ps3 only has 20gb harddrive and blu-ray. No wifi. 360 has 20 gb hardrive and dvd and plus wifi equals 500 dollar ps3. 360 is better deal.
